SEGA Gaming wanted to build a brand new concept in arcade gaming by building a virtual horse racing machine which could be networked with other horse racing machines to create a multi-player environment. Victory Gaming provided all of the game animation, environments and sound effects for SEGA's "Royal Derby". Royal Derby machines can be found in casinos and arcades in South America, Europe and Canada.
